1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the VentLens mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Nature of Service

VentLens is a self-reflection and personal data tracking tool. It is not a medical device, a crisis intervention tool, or a substitute for professional mental health care.If you are in a crisis or experiencing an emergency, please contact your local emergency services or a mental health professional immediately.

3. Data & Privacy

VentLens operates on a "Local First" principle. Your reflections and personal logs are stored exclusively on your device.

• We do not have access to your data.
• If you delete the App without a backup, your data cannot be recovered by us.
• You are responsible for securing your device with biometrics or passcodes.

4. Licensed Application EULA

Your use of the App is also subject to the Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement provided by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), which is incorporated herein by reference.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App for any illegal purposes. Since the App is local to your device, we do not monitor your content, but we encourage healthy and safe self-reflection practices.

6. Limitation of Liability

VentLens and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App, including but not limited to emotional distress or data loss.
